Calm Wind

We writers do not speak. We do not hear. We have no songs. We have no pictures. We only have scripture. From words we bring images. From words we bring emotion. From words we bring life.

Chapter 156 update 6/8/2018 Stress levels = MAXIMUM part 2 · 8:42pm Jun 8th, 2018

Have a cute Floot

Hey all, just a reminder and for those who did not see my last blog post. Piercing the Heavens is on a pseudo-hiatus right now until June 23rd when i will be taking the CFA level 1 exam. It's crunch time, so even my friday and saturday nights are being used to hit the books.

I say "pseudo" because i have done a little bit of work on the next chapter, but not that much. i may do a chapter split to get content out once im done with the test, but only if it works. Following my current layout, chapter 156, and 157 are all we have left before the potentially multi-chapter finale of story arc 3 (2-3 chapters most likely.)

But like i said, pretty much all of my time is being invested in studying, so it is safe to assume there wont be a new chapter until the end of June.

So hang in there! Life is taking precedent over ponies at the moment, i'll be back at it once i'm over this (very steep) hill. Thanks for being patient.

Nice art piece!

You hang in there. You’ll do just fine. Focus on your studying bud. If the words or equations start getting blurry or hard to focus on, like constantly losing track on where you’re at; stop. You’re going to lose info instead of gain.

You’ll do well.

So what does CFA stand for? And if it’s level 1 does that mean you have more to take?:twilightoops:
Cause if so I am sorry about these tests or monsters whatever you wanna call them.
But good luck I know you’ll do great!

You and me, pal. You and me.

Worry not! Keep going, best wishes for your test

I hate math too.

PTH marathon time for me! I still have not read all of the chapters XD You'll do well on the test - I'm sure!

Certified Financial Analyst. There are three levels. level 1 is the easiest. If i pass, in one year i will take level 2, and then level 3 is one year after that. Level 1 can be taken in either december or June. 2 and 3 can only be taken in june. So at the very least i will be at this until 2020. Longer if need be.

So yeah, it's an undertaking and im not a student of the subject so i've had to learn it all from scratch, but it's doable. Thanks!

Wow good luck to you man! Sounds like youve got a busy schedule ahead of you. Props to you. I don’t know how you manage to write on top of all this.
Is writing a good stress outlet for you or something?

Writing is something i do for fun, so it does offer stress relief. I only have a little bit of time nowadays to do so though. Right now that last bit of free time is being used for extra studying since i have the test coming up in less than two weeks.

and thanks :scootangel:

How did the test go? Did you do well?
