A Quick Update (6/8/18) · 9:32am Jun 8th, 2018
Hey, guys! I know it's been over a week since I added anything to this website or my Patreon, so I just wanted to make a small post to bring you all up to speed on my progress.
First off, my upcoming chapter to Growth and Change has over 10K words written out so far, and I'm fairly sure I'm gonna write out a few thousand more before it's complete. I don't want to say anything about what the chapter contains, but I think the length will be enough to let you all know it'll be worth the wait. ;)
Also, due to how much I've been writing that particular story, I decided to also start work on my Patreon Monthly Commission Winner so I won't get burnt out. It's kinda like when you have a giant bowl of ice-cream, and you need something like a small plate of fries to counteract all the cold and sweetness (something I remembered seeing on Man vs. Food, which stuck with me as a fitting metaphor). Anyway, what I'm saying is that along with Growth and Change, I've also written out 3K words worth of content for Hiding the Lineage, my upcoming Shining/Sombra M-Preg clop. I'm not sure when that one will be ready to publish (mostly since I've been worrying about whether or not Shining is being too un-canon (I know, he already is given the pairing and theme, but you know what I mean)), but I'm happy with what I've written as setup and story establishment. Plus, I found a fitting image of Shining to be used as the story cover, so that's a big plus for me!
I will say though, writing Sombring again has really re-vitalized how much I enjoy the ship. I've even gotten more ideas regarding the other Sombring story prompt I had in my Patreon poll, which would've been a sequel to An Impulsive Temptation. Unlike the first story, this story (which I don't have a confirmed title for yet) would be SFW, and mostly focus on Shining and Sombra's growing relationship as they talk in secret during Hearth's Warming Eve. At this point, I have no idea whether or not I'll get it written out anytime soon (unless it wins an upcoming Patreon poll, but who knows?), but it's definitely something I want to write sometime. However, there are a lot of other things I want to write sometime too (Private Moments updates, stuff involving Troy & Canvas and/or Gallus & Sandbar, new kinks, etc.), so only time and my schedule will tell what I'm able to accomplish alongside my current stories and Patreon.
But other than that, I gotta say that things are going really well for me! Just last week, I actually attended an Open Call Audition for Survivor in Springdale, Arkansas; and while I have no idea when/if I'll ever hear anything, I feel extremely confident with how well it went. My boyfriend and I also met up with my Dad and Stepmom over the weekend, which was really nice as well. And with my recent paychecks from work and Patreon in my account, I feel MUCH more comfortable about my financial state than I was before. But I gotta say, you guys are absolutely amazing when it comes to helping me out; I know I sometimes struggle paycheck to paycheck, but having followers and friends from a site as unorthodox as this means more than you guys will ever know.
So... yeah, that's about it! I've written over thirteen thousand words worth of stuff, so it's not like I'm doing nothing the past week or so. Hopefully I'll have something up by the end of this weekend, or by next weekend at the latest. But until then, let's just enjoy the summer for what it is, and hope we don't go too nuts during the upcoming MLP Hiatus. Ciao!
