Sorry guys, I've failed my writing goals for this year.

I've been busy, with work and school. I've been fighting this paper for my Master's degree for the past couple of months and work has been pretty crazy. I work as a cardiac nurse and work the night shift, and we're going through a remodel on the floor, short staffed, and we got a new director a few weeks ago who is still learning how to be a director of a hospital unit. I've been dating a lot, and that is going fantastic. But I've been struggling to meet some other personal goals as well, such as weight loss, and then when I've had any downtime... honestly, the last thing I wanted to do was to write. There as just no passion behind it. It became another thing to just "get done" and held no enjoyment for me. No relaxation, unlike my Xbox and my new hobby of playing Star Wars X-wing.

Now, I'm not declaring that I'm done with writing. I hate stories that get left unfinished, and I also have several stories that I want to write and publish. I also have a great many things I want to do. I just don't want you guys to think that silence from me means that I'm done with writing or anything negative, its just taking time for me to get everything done and out of the way.

The good news is that I don't have to go to work until next Thursday, so I've got plenty of time to get school caught up, and things to finish up which will leave plenty of time to get to ER251 and another story I want to release this year.

Thank you, everyone, for your patience with me, and I'm sorry it's taking so long.

Glad to see you’re still keeping on. Focus on getting your life in order first and foremost.

Here's hoping you find your passion for writing again.

Life has no meaning if you aren't doing what you love. One thing I felt I enjoyed most about the first 250th was how fresh and filled with passion the writing seemed to overflow with. Cheesy words on I'm spewing on the screen I know, but ever chapter felt like it progressed the characters in some way or direction. We grew closer to them.

For what it's worth it's been great reading this little universe you helped expand. I always liked your Rarity's POV. Always good fun when she's on focus.

So as one whose come out of a very long hiatus/retirement, I'm just happy to know you're doing well. Writing should never feel like work, so I'd not hold it against you should you decide to cut the story short or cancel it. This current premise did feel like it'd be a smaller tale than the first story. Then again none could what possible twists and turns around the bend you'd add to it all.

I'll cut this short, best of luck in all things and I hope you find the happiness you deserve.

Thank you, Telaros. It's good to hear from you again. ER251 will be finished properly. It may have a sequel to it or I'll wrap up the arc in it and it will just be a longer story. And I do not want it to be the last thing from me on this website. I have so many more stories and worlds I want to explore and share. Life may fight against me, but it won't prevail for long.
