So, I wrote something a while ago:
There have been some people eager for an update. The second chapter was...rushed. The timing for the events were bad and it didn't follow the promises set out in the first chapter. There was someone who said it felt like someone else wrote it.
I'm not good with endings, not yet. Small ideas that can be wrapped up somewhere between one to ten thousand words, those I can do. So, the problem has been recognized. That's the first step. Now I'm going to fix it. The problem is that you can only get better at writing through experience. The solution is to get that experience.
I've been taking a break from pony fiction. I might post some more one-shots, but before I update The Youngest Dragon or do any other long-form story, I'm going to write a novel-length piece of original fiction. When I'm finally up to standard, I'll finish The Youngest Dragon.
And so I enter the Light-cave, forsaking food, friends, and family for fiction.
Do what feels best for you. As long as you finally do come back to it, we'll be here.
Also, don't forget to let us know where you put your original fiction.

And even if you don't some of us will still be here.
May the God's bless your words
May our Muses guide your thoughts
May our eyes read your works again
Yikes. Good luck and God bless.
