Conserning S8E1-2 "School Daze" · 2:22am May 30th, 2018
I finally finished watching S8E1-2 “School Daze”. I feel a special level of hate for this episode because it went by the book meaning it was exactly what I thought it was going to be: power hungry school board makes life miserable for everyone – I mean everycreature, because adding more syllables is clearly the faster and more efficient way to speak.
If there was any redeemable feature about the plot of this episode, it would be the message that the current real world standard for schools is broken, but that is not a message for children – That’s not even a message for MLP fans.
My school experience left me with emotional scars. A relative of mine was left with a psychological scar: being unable to cope with the abuse, she forced herself to forget the that damage that was done to her to instead become a teacher herself dominating her students as she was dominated thus completing the bully cycle and ensuring that further generations of children will not live happy lives – this is what the character Neighsay represents in this episode.
I do not have the strength to go into it further, but I could not remain completely silent and let others believe that this is just a silly over-possessive character who doesn’t represent something in real life.
