I recently got a message (Somewhat recently, I should say) from a fan of Road to Redemption asking for my blessing in building their own world within my AU. Now, I myself have wanted to collaborate with other authors because I fucking love the idea of writing with someone else and blending our styles together, but that's not what's happening here.
Nah, Dudebro just wants to write a story in the Thief's Tale Universe, and I can't help but to say that I'm a little disappointed, but at the same time, I couldn't be much more excited. To know that something that I created, something that I put time and effort into was admired by someone so much that they decided to skip plagiarism entirely and make a fanfic of my fanfic. If it's good, I'll probably link it in RTR's description, in all honesty. While the AU might be mine, I'd love for people to add onto it, to take their own directions with the story, to dig deeper and take little events that happened and Butterfly Effect the shit out of said event and turn it into a whole new deal.
TL;DR;1: Someone's writing a story based on A Thief's Tale, Road to Redemption and I could only be happier if I was actually helping out with that story. C'est la vie.
That being said, I'd like to formally, officially welcome all writers, good and bad, big and small, novice or experienced, to build something with the bricks I've laid. I welcome anyone to use my World as logn as you let me read yo' shit bruh. It's not as fun to have people manipulate your ideas if you don't know they're doing it, so hit a brotha up with a chapter if you decide to write one. If you need information about some nitty-gritty details, ask and I'll probably remember enough of it to remember what chapter I wrote it into. If not, pump my views, slave.
