You may notice that Glimmer Fortress (Along with another trash pile of a fic that shall not be spoken of.) are now missing from my profile.

That's because I've decided to cancel Glimmer Fortress entirely. This is for several reasons.

1. It's a discount PWNY-verse story starring a largely OOC Starlight Glimmer along with Sunset Shimmer, I guess.

2. I had no idea what I was doing, considering how many plot holes the entire bloody thing had.

3. I've lost passion for TF2 entirely. No passion for half the source material means that I can't exactly be arsed to research the game in order to tell a compelling narrative.

4. It was pretty shit, to be honest.

So, I might as well spoil the inevitable end of that trainwreck.

Starlight. Sunset and the mercs fight through an MvM mission. GL1MM3R comes along and both it and Starlight fight. Starlight wins and leaves her for dead. Humane 6 come along and help fend off robots while Starlight and Sunset then decide to cut off the source and go straight into the giant tank thing to destroy the robot production thing. Cute assassination of Grey Mann, happy ending, all the dead mercs are revived but have no memory of Starlight, GL1MM3R now has no reason to fight Starlight as her boss is now dead and takes a Heel-Face Turn, becoming the 10th member of Blu. Starlight and Sunset fuck off and Starlight's artificial arm is still with her when she returns to pony form.

Then during Glimmering Mirror, EG Starlight would find out Sunset's association with Equestria and travel there on her own, meeting the now battle-hardened Starlight. Shenanigans ensue.

Now considering that I have another EG story that would slide into the canon a lot better (Not Very Anon-A-Miss), this can still be salvaged at least. I'll take the story in a different way than I originally intended, assuming I have the urge to write.

Of course, therin lies the problem because now I'm writing "Hyperdimension Glimtunia", a fic based on the Neptunia franchise and more specifically, the first (And possibly second) games in the Re;birth trilogy.

Now obviously, Neptunia has a story to speak of, so I can just leech off that. That, along with it being far more rich in character and whatnot, might make it easier to write. Point is that I haven't decided if I'm going to do it yet and am just working on a prologue to see how I feel about it.

That was quite the update, weren't it? Anyway, have a pleasant day or whatever, I think I'm going to go do things.
