The last story I posted, per the author's note, was expanded from an entry for a regular competition called "The WriteOff." There's a new round starting... a few hours ago actually, so pardon the late announcement. Stories are anonymous for the duration of voting and review, so you can be sure any feedback you get is genuine.
If you want to test your skills and get some commentary, it's a good place to start. This week is pony short story, so the submission deadline isn't until Sunday. Plenty of time to check out the FAQ and get some writing done. There's also a Discord channel for any other questions or clarifications.
Oh, there are also original fiction rounds, so if you want to try your hand at non-pony there's a venue for that, too.
