Five-year Review-aversary: Welcome to Vs. Week · 12:13pm May 16th, 2018
Five years ago today, I posted my very first review blog.
If you check out my spreadsheet, you'll of course see story reviews from before that date, but those were just sort of "Hey guys, I read this, you should read it!" The may 16th post was the very one to... more or less have the format I've followed ever since.
This, by the way, is that second big milestone I've been blathering about. <.<
To celebrate, I am of course going to do more reviews. :) Specifically, over the next seven days, starting tomorrow, I will be posting a new vs. review every day! This is a project I started back in 2015 (which will likely show in the first few entries), but I'm glad I didn't finish it until a week or so ago, because it's become the perfect thing to mark the occasion. You can expect fics both long and short, all of which were in some way impactful of the fandom as a whole. (Oh boy, I get to clean out my 'old favorites' folder at long last!)

In all seriousness, if you ever begin to feel absolutely sick of ponies, it may just mean you need to take a hiatus and come back refreshed. Like me--I've lost count of how many hiatuses I've taken, but I'm working on yet another comeback anyway.
