    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

So, here's the Thing. · 1:43am May 16th, 2018

Still not dead, everyone, despite life's best efforts. But enough about me, however brief, let's talk about words. Specifically, my words. So I guess more about me okyouknowwhat lets... just move on. More about me first to help explain what is going on and why I'm posting this.

I have not kept up with MLP: FiM since Season 5, where I only watched some but not all the episodes. Honestly I couldn't even tell you what happened besides the Applejack and Pinkie Pie are now cousins bit, the Applejack and Rarity in Manehatten bit, and the Season open/close. I'm out of the loop and while a kinda feel like going and watching the episodes, the very real reason I haven't is simply... I don't care all that much about FiM following Season 2. I tried, mind you - for a couple years, making Twilicorn(or as you people may refer to her, 'Twilight Sparkle') fic and generally trying to be a good sport. However, it just never stuck with me like Lauren's days on the show. Maybe it's something about M.A. Larson, but the overall theme has switched from something I adore and feel is important, to... uh...

I guess it just feels like a Really Good Toy Show, whereas before it was a Toy Show That is So Much More.

So it's made my inspiration and word-writing life a lot more difficult. Hell, if you go and read my most recent fic(that was mostly written on-and-off from S1-S2 with a smattering of S3), you'll notice I really don't call Twilight a Princess or an alicorn or... do you guys still call Twi an alicorn, or is it just 'princess' now? Geez, I'm out of the loop. What I mean to say is that S4 and beyond just don't... appeal to me. There are tons of good stories there, both canon and fanfiction, and like I said some part of me wants to see the 'good ones,' but overall it's just not grabbing me.

If you see more work from me in the future, expect it to center completely around Pre-S3 finale or shorter fics like Memories We Never Had that take place shortly following S3. Otherwise... yeah, just expect Twilight sans wings, really.

If you can expect anything at all, but hey, I like words.

This is so true.

And anymore, it's Just a Toy Show. :/

(You should watch Amending Fences and Do Princesses Dream of Electric Sheep from season five tho c.c)

Words are good. Are you still writing elsewhere, on other topics?

Not to the degree of making stories, no. I'm a creature of habit and, unfortunately, I have none that survived being a slave to the food service paycheck.

Second on Amending Fences, for sure. It's on my short list of best episodes in the whole series, and it calls back to S1.
