Status Update 5/8/2018 · 4:19am May 9th, 2018
I only got 546 words done today, but that's okay - I finished up chapter 7 of Sunset in Ponyville! 
And, of course, started the initial editing work on the super-long chapter 6 which I will finish and send off to my proper editor tomorrow.
As usual, I will let you all know when it's about to be published.
And after I do that, I should have plenty of time to start working on the next chapter of Synchrony. Only two more chapters before I'll be able to start the mass-edit of the current batch! Speaking of Synchrony, I'd dearly like to get some good cover art for it... I've tried looking on derpibooru, but haven't had any success. 
Oh well. Maybe I'll try again some other day.
Edit: Almost forgot! The current total for the month is 8,432!
Yay, I'm glad you finished the chapter. And don't worry about the word count, it happens. And all those extra words you built up helped even it out and then some.

Thanks! Although to be honest I'm not really worried about today's word count for exactly that reason - I'd built up enough of a buffer that I was still on schedule. Heck, if somehow my personal editing runs long tomorrow I could have another low word count day and still be good.
