Finally, my first episode of my Dark Souls series is up on my channel, after staying up for 5 FUCKING HOURS last night making sure the upload didn't crash or anything. I've spent a lot of money for my capture card and my Blue Yeti Microphone (which ironically came in a red color, ha ha ha) so I am determined to get some mileage out of this garbage. If you want to see idiot me play Dark Souls and possibly be unfunny then follow the link down below and enjoy what this retard has put out on the web. If we hit at the very fucking least, about 500 views or 50 Likes, I'll do another episode as soon as possible.
Don't fuck me on this guys and gals. I've wasted a perfectly good weekend and missed several nights where I could have been talking to my Californian sweetheart, so I'm not in the mood to be fucked over for the shit I've had to put up with. Watch the shit, leave feedback and suggestions to improve my shit, and I'll take your feedback into consideration when I'm recording the next episode.

Wow, you just started and your videos already have a higher production value than mine XD!! I really like the little animated opening. It is very, well, unique :D :D :D..... Anyways, yes, a very good start indeed. Your humor is very amazing too. One suggestion I have is if you could maybe add that smoke cloud that happens when you sit down at a bonfire to your opening? I think that would be cool. Also, try moving your mic as close to your mouth as you can without being too 'obtrusive'. It sounds a bit far away. Other than those little nitpicks, I find myself intrigued :D!! I liked it, and I would share it, but I don't have anyone to share it with xP. I wish you luck with this endeavor!

I DID have my mouth very close to the microphone. There must be some settings still in need of fiddling with. I'll have to do some tests in a bit to find the right one.
Oh that animated intro is only half of what I wanted to do. I'm working on adding a bit more to it for the next videos to come. I want Unique to sit at the bonfire, and pull out a Humanity sprite to offer to the bonfire. But that cloudy effect would be fantastic to put in! Thanks Colossal. I'll add that in. :)

I do HAVE friends, it's just that none of them know I like MLP. And if I share a video made by a brony, then questions will start to get asked. So I'd rather keep it to myself. I could share on socials like twitter and I guess in one of my blogs (I need to do an update blog anyways). I just don't have that many followers on either platforms, so no one would end up seeing it anyway. Believe me, man, I want to help you on your journey to Let's Playing and video making, I'm just very limited to what I can do.
And yeah, mics are finicky and a few test recordings should be done beforehand just so you can get the settings right. I have a Blue Snowball, same brand as yours but different in body, and it works good enough for what I use it for. It has a clear quality and picks up sound pretty well. Down side is that it picks up sound TOO well. Background noise tends to get caught by it. Which then makes me have to go in and try to remove it, if I can. The game audio usually does a good job of masking it though.

Also, has anyone noticed any...porn ads appearing on this site? I've been seeing stuff for Mature British Gals and Latina Babes plastered off to the side on this site. What the hell is going on? I mean there's an ad for a shady looking site underneath my comment box right now for something called 'Val'. And I'm wondering if it has anything to do with all the clopfics people keep throwing up on here.
