5:00pm-6:00 pm - All Aboard the Feels Train
Writing often offers us opportunities to explore some of the harder topics in life. But it's not always easy getting an emotionally charged scene to work. Join Monochromatic and Oroboro (and TD) in a discussion on how to write emotional scenes without leaving your readers wondering why they should care.
6:15pm-7:15 pm - The Shipping Express
In the world of MLP, we have interesting and unique challenges in writing relationships. Join Monochromatic, Oroboro, The Albinocorn, and the EFNW staff as we discuss ways to write ships, avoid pitfalls of shipping, and write relationships that feel authentic, even if they seem a bit off the wall.
7:30pm-8:30 pm - Sussing Out a Synopsis
Fimfiction has a very narrow window with which you can use to hook readers. Often what readers see about a story before deciding to read it is the synopsis. Join the writing track as we discuss ways to best build a striking synopsis so readers want to give your story more than just a once over.
8:45pm-9:45 pm - Critical Threat Roll
The hardest part about being a writer is having to take feedback. This is often a scary, potentially ego-risky process for many authors. Join us as we discuss how to take constructive criticism well, how to work with an Editor, and how to not lose your mind in the process.

Ever wondered how an episode goes through the process of writing a script into translation to the screen? How does a simple idea become a good story? Join our VIP Writers and Directors as they answer these questions and more - with G.M. Berrow, Josh Haber, Katrina Hadley, and Jim Miller.
Of course, I'll be around the con all weekend - I'll be arriving Thursday evening and leaving Sunday evening - so if you're going to be there, be sure to let me know. I'll likely hang around the writer's room in the evenings during the Artist and Writer Hangout, probably will be at quite a few of the writing panels even that I'm not a part of, and of course will be at my panels. If you're around the writing track, you'll certainly see me! You guys on any panels this year? I'm not sure who all is doing what, as not everyone's name is on the Actual Official Schedule that is on the website, with a bunch of people on panels being effectively And Zoidberged.
