This episode was awesome!! I loved it!
(this was legit Starlight's room before she left home, apparently)
I really loved this episode. It was really an episode that catered a bit to the adult side of the audience and I really related to it. Like, kids could get it, I suppose, but it's really potent for adults. Let me explain.
The long and short of this episode is Starlight and Sunburst get the glowing butt mark thing going on and have to solve a friendship mission with their parents. Turns out their parents are extremely suffocating and don't really know how to let go of their kids that have clearly grown up.
So, as a guy who left home several years ago, I can attest to what it's like having a suffocating mother who simply doesn't want to see her baby fly away from the nest. It can be, well, annoying. Starlight and Sunburst both experience this, too. However, by the end of the episode, everything actually gets worked out, at least a bit, in a very realistic way. I won't spoil it, but it was very accurate.
The humor was great, the characters were top notch and like I mentioned, the message was a great one.
Final Score: 9/10
Keep rocking!
