We're Not Done Yet · 3:00pm May 5th, 2018
So, yeah. I decided to keep going. We're not done yet. I've got more plans, but there are some things I wanted to talk about beforehand.
So first off, that ending. What was up with that. Well, that was the ending I had planned, but I'd been working on the chapter for a long time and I had no idea how to end the story. I think it was because I was looking at it from the wrong way, and it was only after I'd published the original chapter 7 that I realized where else I could go. I was frustrated, and it was a pretty tough time with other stuff in my life so I wasn't thinking right, I think. I just kinda put it up to say I was done, but it sure as hell wasn't. So, I don't know if that's the ending that's going to happen anymore, but we have at least two or three chapters ahead of this.
So I've rewritten Chapter 7 to make the ending make more sense and flow better, rather than the speeding
uncontrolled train that it was before.
Also, I'm sure some people wonder why I put the pre-reader thing so aggressively. And honestly, that's because as of right now I don't actually have anyone to pre-read it that is even a fan of this show. A friend of mine, Ben, has been reading for me, but there's multiple problems with that. A, he's really busy. I feel bad asking him to read something if he has no time. B, he's not a fan of MLP. He's watched only a few of the first episodes with his ex-girlfriend, and that was several years ago. He has no idea the characters or anything like that. So, I've been trying to get someone who has more time to do it, and knows the characters well enough to call me out of they don't sound accurate.
So, yeah. I also just like to bounce ideas off of someone and just chat about the story, but I can't really do that with him. Mainly, because I know he doesn't know anything about this show, so he can't really help, so he just kinda sits there politely and lets me talk. I appreciate that, but I really do need someone to tear apart the story and point out exactly where it goes wrong/of-kilter. So really, if you even want to just see the chapters a little early and just be able to chat with me about it, PM me. I might even make a Discord server for the story or something, but I just really want some people to talk about with.
Actually, now that I think about it, I'm going to make a Discord. They're free, and really easy, and I think it's just gonna encompass my entire story collection, not just Blue Moon. ANYWAY!
I hope that once Blue Moon is finished, I'll be able to move on and establish an entire Equestria Girls world, which is something I've really been interested in for a long time, even during the time when I was gone for several years. I was even messing around with a few stories during that time, but it never got far. Hopefully, we can change that.
TL:DR - Original Chapter 7 was shit, I'm sorry. I don't know if the story is going to end the same way. I ask for pre-readers all the time because I have no MLP friends to talk to about my stories. I'm making a Discord server. I want to make an EQG world.
