Take a break?

I've been on a break for two years.

find inspiration or get struck by inspiration.

Ah well, I’m stumped. :twilightsheepish:

Do you want to continue writing?

The trick I always use if I’ve hit a slump or writer’s block is to just write something, anything. Writing something can sometimes get you past the block. Or reading.

I know it can be rough to just force yourself to start without inspiration, but even just writing about the lack of inspiration can sometimes give you jumping points.

This problem is nothing new for me. I've experienced blocks in the past, and believe me they can get you down.

Here is the solution I learned: Sit down and write.

Write about anything you want. It doesn't have to be fan fiction. Write about something heartbreaking, or something funny, or something scary. Write about your childhood, your hopes and dreams. Write about the things that keep you up at night. Give yourself permission to write, and also give yourself permission to write badly.

I know it's hard to do that, but trust me, it's liberating to know you've give yourself permission to write however and whatever you want.

Give it a try.
