It’s time for the monthly check-in. This month was far more productive than the last so I’m feeling pretty good. As usual, you can find more after the break.

Thoughts:
I was right back to my normal, uninterrupted writing time this month and tore through writing Chapter 48. I fell just a bit short of actually releasing it in April though. I still need to do one last read through to make sure I didn’t leave any unfinished paragraphs. I’m shooting for finishing it up by the end of the week though so that’s good news. Still, averaging over 500 words a day for the month isn’t bad in my opinion.
My original plan was to do some writing last night but an irresistible offer came up. Namely, I had the opportunity to go see Infinity War. Child care is a huge challenge for my wife and since we’ve had terrible luck with sitters. About our only option on short notice is to take turns going to movies while the other watches the kids. So my wife went yesterday afternoon and then I went last night. In the interest of not spoiling it, all I’m going to say is enjoyed the movie.
On another note, I’ve watched the first couple episodes of the new season. The stories have been interesting so far and the first two episodes have interesting implications for my future writing. In particular, I was caught off guard by the attitude of the education council. I’ve always had a head cannon theory that there is an underlying racist streak in pony culture based on little things I’ve noticed about Equestria. Still, I was surprised to see ponies displaying that behavior so blatantly during an actual episode.

Can we expect to see Neigh-say in any future chapters then? Possibly a character you plan on fleshing out more like you did with the Diamond Dogs, or perhaps a secondary antagonist for future chapters like Prince Blueblood?
4852346 - Yes, I'd say it's pretty likely he'll show up; possibly even sooner in the timeline than he does in the actual show. He's a bit too useful as a powerful bureaucrat to ignore.
