To learn from the past to make the future, to see mistakes and remedy them, it is our duty to eternally improve upon our past.

    What is best:
Finish something, even if I must slice and cut things to make it work properly, and see it done, for good or bad?
Fix something, even at the cost of large swaths of story lost, and progress setback by some ways?

    So.

So, I'm back. I... can try to explain, I suppose.

So. I'm back, though I've not really left... I'll try to explain.

To some surprise, I've found that working like this, with works that need an end, is rather... satisfying and frustrating. Baffling and clear. A mix of emotions, depending on whether or not I can see my way clear to something, or if finding the next few words are like attempting to clean glass using tar. I've slowed down a lot since I first started, partly because I've used my backlog, and partly due to this new difficulty; finding the final, or next, step of the stories I currently have unfinished.

Those would be: The Hag, Once More, Bringing the Magic Back, Casca's Glory, To Change a Life, and Wavering Perception. Writing trouble for most all of them. Even now, focusing on the problem (college is done with for this semester) I seem unable to find the next words. Problems might include literary tangles, rotten elements, or just me, unable to get back into the flow of a story. I'll be working hard to finish the ones closest to completion.

And then The Ghost in the Machine.

It's on hold for a good reason.

And is it just me, or is there a group of people following me around? Rotten to the Core just went up, and I've seen something I've seen many times before, with only a few variants:

30 views. 2 likes. 1 dislike.

Happens with every almost story I've posted, barely an hour after it goes up. Kinda creepy to tell you the truth. I'm (likely) being paranoid, however, so... Anyway.

A new tale might help loosen up those troubles in the others, and don't be surprised if I do some serious renovations on a few; Once More, With Feeling might lose a chapter or two.

And finally, should you want something good, I firmly suggest Estee's latest work Enduriance. Best nonsense I've read since... well, never.

Amaranthine Thought, working hard, I'll get it done, I promise!
