Alright, at the end of last week, beginning of this one, I posted some stories, that well......, where frankly a little substandard. I would like to explain. You see I started writing My Little Fanfics, heh, heh, see what I did there, on Google docs. However, shortly after I started posting on here I promptly forgot about all those wonderful nuggets. Realizations, Cycles 1 & 2 both had ancestors that were born on Google Docs. That's not even including, my tales of the Norse, and now of the Greek, beings that had been screwed divinely. Both of which, if they were not began on Google Docs, drew inspiration from some other story line that I never had a place for.
But after a while, I found it no longer feasible to post on Docs, transfer it to here and then worry about all those little problems that most assuredly would arise. In the end, it was just easier, and lazier, to just post and edit as I could here. Which so far has been a really wise decision, except for the fact that if I happen to forget to save and close out of my story, if I then try to use another device to make changes, those changes don't save worth a damn.
Meanwhile, the stories that existed on Docs languished alone and with no love. First drafts all of them, without even the quick look i give before I post my first drafts here to avoid the above problem. So when I posted them, they where less then great. But I'd been having a long week and I needed one thing to go the way I thought it would. Those stories, as rough and unpolished, and outright bad, as they where provided the win I needed to put myself back on track across the board.
Sometimes, A win being a win can snap you right back to where you need to be. So because of that I was able to continue my Gravity Falls fanfic, follow the bouncing ball on my Illithid Fic, and story board a little of what will come next for Onyx nightshade and the rest of those caught up in that particular spider's web. And in other news I will be asking NotJohnHarker to be my editor as she happens to be the love of my life, and the reason I started writing again anyway. So if anyone reads this and hates my stuff, which why would you even read this blog if that was the case, kinda of on you boyo, its entirely her fault that I am even writing at all. Love you honey. Oh and by the way, Points if you can pick out what Fanfic story, from this site, I am Easter Egging in Going Home and will continue to do so (unless the author of said story asks me to stop), as well as what canon characters the judgments referenced in Monster's Parole.
