I'm happy about this.
One less threat of nuclear annihilation. This is fucking big. Also, I can sleep better at night. Today the two leaders of Korea, Kim Jong-Un and Moon Jae-In, after 65 year say: It's time to move on with life. Paper work should be signed by the end of this year. Yeah, bullshit could happen but why focus on it. My dad years ago in the army babysat nukes over there. A year of my life with him gone. Another reason for joy because less children that will have to go though that. Might be a bit petty reason on my part but sanity wins and we all win.
Why did this happen? China and USA decided it would be bad for business in the long term. Xi and Trump got to working on this. North Korea is not able to make nukes at this point. South Korea got weird political problems. Honestly... I don't know the combo of things.
I'm going to enjoy this either way.
