Unfortunate Events... · 11:49pm Apr 25th, 2018
My dog, our faithful Welsh Terrier, Kassie, has been a staple of our family for quite some time.
That might change, though. And not in a good way.
She was limping today, and when my Mom took her into our local University's animal hospital, diagnosis was bad.
Her ACL tendon had burst, basically killing her right hind leg. And it's really hurting her.
She can't go on walks, she can't go outside on her own...She's crippled, essentially. And...
I've loved her for so long, I can't see her go so soon. She's old, but she's so full of energy most days you wouldn't notice. We can get a surgery to fix it, but it's in the 3000+ range, and though we're financially stable, it's really tough to make a decision on my parents' part.
I'm just so upset. I know Kassie's not going to be here forever, it's just we've had her for basically as long as I can remember.
I just...my parents are going to talk to the Vet, but...there's the other option...that I shall not name. I can't say anymore...
I'll keep you guys posted. Send prayers, guys. Send them, fast as you can, please.
Chief out.
It's alright mate.
