The world was a different place back then. Skyrim was in Minecraft and ponies were in Team Fortress. Skrillex was on the radio, Justin Bieber on the TV, Gangnam style on the streets and Party Rock Anthem in our heads. We all wore shutter shades and neon and Kony bands and planked on things. We talked about Bad Luck Brian and Matrix memes at school. Everything was aliens. Cats were either Nyan, or they were Grumpy. Ponies were a big deal. Bronies were a big fanbase.
What a beautiful time to have been alive. Lemons weren't even a thing back then, but we didn't mind because we all liked turtles so much.
