I know I know, no written works to regale you with just yet, fuckery is afoot, moving house, job shenanigans, I just set my mattress on fire (About fucking time too, lookatthat motherfucker burn), slowly, agonizingly slowly I am getting a grip on life again, have some crusadery goodness while you wait, I did these on and off while finishing Darkest Dungeon:
You would not believe how much hassle Red Cloak McFuckface up there cost me, but I am happy with the result. I will also be reuploading the other images of Handyman Can't Draw in the next blog because Dropbox has derped and refuses to show linked images now. Well fuck you too, Dropbox.

I'm not sure if you need a new mattress, but I'd recommend avoiding buying a decent one because they are a scam. Either buy a cheap one and toss a memory foam topper on it, or do what I did and just buy a stack of "toppers" to use as a mattress in their own right.
Any chance of seeing a handy version of that?

Unlikely short of a vision of him in full armour. I personally dont want to draw Handy with his full features, prefering instead to allow readers to have their own mental image of what Handy looks like based on what descriptions I have given them (which to be fair are normally few and far between and have changed noticeably based on his health at the moment), allowing them to connect or objectify Handy based on how much they sympathise or antipathise his positions at any moment in time, seeing as most readers like the story but the question of whether they think Handy is ultimately a good person or not varies wildly from reader to reader. I prefer to keep his features obscure so long as it helps this character conversation. Hence why I am more likely to draw literally any other character in the story.

Can't say I'd go for that, that'd be far too soft a bed for me. I got a decent, hard enough mattress for a good 300 euro, which is relatively cheap (bought it out of some guy's shed full of mattresses), a 4'6'' bed for that price isn't bad, no topper either, (my last one had a topper, the novelty wore off fairly quickly). For reference, the bed was like, 8 years old at the least and was full of holes and springs, it got so bad I had gotten used to placing a spare duvet on top of the topper so I didn't sleep with a dagger sticking through my spine. I will saw that the mattress industry probably is a scam, but then I bought mine out the back of a warehouse, so you know, details.

Fair enough, although it is worth remembering that in many ways, his armor is functionally his face because he likes using it to hide his real face and make himself seem more imposing/less approachable to avoid dealing with others more than he absolutely has to.
Also, a pic of him in full armor can be very easily interpreted as a generic guy in armor like the others you did, so it won't really stand out in your work the way it might if someone else did it.

I love Darkest Dungeon. It's one of my favorite games, and your drawings -which are pretty well done- remind me of all the fun, stress, and pain the game brought me.
In addition, I really like how you are allowing the reader to imagine for themselves what handy looks/sounds like. Thereby preventing people from being alienated without hindering your storytelling.
Finally, I really enjoy the story and can't wait 'till the next chapter.
