Rainbow's going to take a backseat in this chapter.
But Twilight and Rarity are back. (I'm not going to have four more ponies to juggle in this story- though storywise Applejack has a reason to be out and somepony has to keep a mentoring eye on Scootaloo. And having Twilight away from Pinkie for a few days ties into a plot point I've set up.
Weirdly enough this story falls into place once the first scene goes on. And I've wanted to use Rarity again and I keep having ideas for a party "hosted" by Starlight so that's going to be fun.
That is going to be in this chapter either way cause I both want a nice escalation of things and there's one scene that popped into my head once I wrote something like "Fleur's having a party, come over tomorrow." or something to that effect.
First scene is mostly Twilight and Rainbow talking over some stuff. How exciting. Though slight calm and chill scenes are needed to both explain stuff I've been setting up and also hinting at. Maybe it's not a lot but at least trying to hint at stuff is better than waiting chapters to learn anything about the magic and plot stuff.
