Okay, so when I finished In the Days That Followed, I had set myself a loose schedule of what remaining unfinished and as yet unwritten stories I was going to tackle next. I needed to finish A Is For..., and I promised myself that I'd write the "missing" fantasy sequences from Sunset Sexytimes as a thank you to the readers who liked it and got it into the Featured box for almost a full week. Following that, I was going to turn my attention to the circus-themed Equestrian Girls AU I've had kicking around for a while. I figured, get the fantasy sequences done, then focus on A Is For..., then do the circus fic and once that's done, I can move on to the final installment of the Repercussions Trilogy.
Ha ha. I'm such a fool.
Because, if you noticed, Smash & Grab happened. And people really seemed to like it. I expected it to be a one shot for now, maybe revisiting it later after the other stuff was done. But as people kept asking questions, and I fleshed out the setting with the "Twilight's Encrypted Notes" bonus, another story set in the same continuity began forming in my brain, and it seems to be more fleshed out than the circus AU is at this point.
So, because Delilah (yes, I have actually named my muse. She is very fickle and will not be ignored) is being insistent on it, the release schedule now looks like this...
- Remaining Rainbow Dash bonus chapter for Sunset Sexytimes.
- Complete A Is For....
- As yet untitled Smash & Grab sequel.
- Consequences (Repercussions Trilogy Vol. 3)
- Secret of the Sundown Circus (EG Circus AU)
I can promise you that I am writing every day that I can (barring those days where I have to work both my jobs), but not everything I write will be released on a daily basis. Once I get back to A Is For..., I will be releasing each chapter when it's completed, which means kind of an erratic release schedule for a bit. Then the Smash & Grab sequel and Consequences will both have daily(ish) updates.
Just wanted to let everybody know what's going on. And if you haven't read it yet, please check out Smash & Grab. I really like this one.
