My second promised status update! I'm two for two! 
I wrote a pretty sizeable 1,102 words today! That puts me at 2,177 words total for the month.
Despite the higher total than yesterday, sailing was slightly less smooth. Got hung up a couple times trying to work out exactly how to proceed, but I managed to get past them without much trouble. I fully expect to have similar troubles tomorrow, but at least I can tell that I'm nearing the point where I'll be able to easily work out exactly how the rest of the chapter should go. And once I reach that point, I expect I'll have a greater surge of productivity. Or at least smooth sailing to the end of the chapter.
Congrats on getting in your word count, and don't worry. Every journey has its bumps, pitfalls, and so forth. But going through all that will help settle into smooth sailing eventually. Good luck going forward.
