It's... been awhile to say the least.
Two years since I last posted anything on here.
It's hard to admit, but what essentially happened was that I dropped out of the fandom. Didn't watch the show, didn't go on Equestria Daily, and didn't really browse FIMfiction. Didn't really write either.
Why?
To tell you the truth, I'm really not sure. Life had started getting hectic, though really there was nothing stopping me from getting on this computer of mine and writing down some words. I just decided to keep pushing it off before forgetting it about it entirely.
But then, one day when my life had gotten a little bit more stable, I decided I was going to write some fanfics again. I hadn't even decided I was going to return to write fics for MLP, I actually had some ideas for a different show.
Of course, nearly two years without writing anything, I kind of wanted some motivation.
So I decided to reread my Tutelary Spirit universe.
And boy had I forgotten. After for so long, reading those stories felt like I was reading them for the first time ever. It was quite an experience. I had forgotten the emotion that I had left in these stories and it was nice to feel them again.
Before I knew it, I was exploring the brony fandom once again: the fan videos, the animation, the reacts, the music; it was so fun to do so again.
Then I started browsing FIMfiction, trying to find as many new stories as I could, the ones that I had missed over these two years (still working on that).
...But I also revisited the old. It was... disheartening, to say the least, to see so many of my favorites left unfinished, and to see quite a few of the more popular authors on here just drop off of the radar.
But then I realized, was I already not one of them? Hadn't I too abandoned this place and left my stories unfinished.
No.
Because I've decided to come back and finish them.
For those who missed me at all these past years, I apologize for my absence.
For those who will continue to follow me and my stories despite my prior leaving, I might suggest you do some rereading so you can get caught back up.
Lord knows I needed to.

I had been wondering why you stopped halfway through the series, hoping that you would come back and finish them. Now you're back, and, hello again. I had read the first two back when they were still one-shots, and decided to hold off on the re-read until they were all finished. Thank you for making my waiting worthwhile.

No worries, duder. Interests ebb and flow. Yes, it's sad to see so many fics unfinished and abandoned (*cough* like mine *cough*) but that's the way fan fiction works. We don't get paid to do this, so it's a work of passion, and sometimes... that passion leaves us.
I, for one, am glad you're back and in a better mood. I'm excited to see where you take your stories!

Good to see you back and writing. Your stories always had such a mystical feel to it that leaves you wanting more. It reminds me of the first true story book I ever read; Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Based on greek mythology with a modern twist.
