Rain... Darkness... Why must we shun these things? These dichotomies of tranquility and chaos. We carry our own heat, when we bear our own light. Why don't we let our own warmth guide us? To see us through to better days, past momentary misery and inadequacies and sham and the iniquities of the powerful minority? There are so many more of us, all with our aspiring lights, our drives and dedications to do more, to think more, to become more. We stumble, we falter, we question and doubt and regret. We feel ourselves helpless, hopeless, wihtout any place to go, any avenue to take. That we are powerless, then there's nothing that can be done. That's not the way to think. That's not the way to live. The misfortunes keep happening only because we have accepted that; allowed it to be accepted. It will change. Things always change. Look to the far future, keep your best foot forward. Do something, think something to keep afloat. Melancholy should be a luxury, not a communal state of mind. Just be aware of the factors that have led to such unfortunate happenstances. Learn from them, so as to never repeat them. The sun will always be there, waiting to shine. So for the moment, enjoy the gentle fall of rain.
The thing I found a couple months ago to keep me going is Christianity... it truly helps.
To try and become something greater than myself,
to be Kinder,
more Honest,
gain true Generosity,
be filled with Joy
pursue Loyalty,
and be filled with the Magic of Christ and fellowship!
I didn't initially think I needed Christianity for all that, but it's the push I needed. Sorry for the extra cheese, just kinda feelings similarly melancholy tonight, yet there is still light.

Yeah indeed there's light. I'm not of the religious sort (though I did drink holy water at a basilica recently [teehee]), you gotta know there's yin for every yang, a day for every night. All about perspective: keep it broad, and the bad don't seem quite so bad.

We're all humans and we all share the same light, it's just about finding it.
