Next STO Story(s) Plan: Borg-Related or Another/Add to a Crossover?

OK, since I'm getting close to finishing the STO: DR story, I'm wondering... I have an idea for maybe two more sequels. As ridiculous as that may sound to some, I'm curious about which idea I should make the first of the story first.

I have two ideas to choose at the moment:

1. Continue on a certain crossover: What I mean by that is to involve a universe we've already seen in the story, I have an idea for a Pokémon related one that has something to do with one of the main characters' past and ancestry (maybe more).

Or...

2. A Borg related story: As the first story shows, Twilight and her friends have briefly come across the Borg during their introduction to the ST Universe, what if the remaining Borg ships managed to get word to the rest of the collective somehow? What if they decided to use them (the Mane 6) against their next targets in their quest for perfection?

Aaaaannnnd- Oh! Also, do you think I should just make some short stories connected to something in the bigger arc/on their own arc, or should I just make long stories?

I'll be making the last chapter for the story for now, while that's on, let me know what you think. ;)
