I've been stuck with something of a quandary for the last few months where the tagged fic is concerned. Chapter four has been done for awhile now, but I've yet to post it because of a certain issue.
Not to give away too many details, but the next thread is going to involve the CMC. And they get to be serious badasses. The thing is, what happens before they show up at where they're going doesn't really fit with the overall tone of the current fic. It's more of a side story, one that I haven't even started to write yet.
Here's where you all come in. I don't know how many even care, but from the time of posting of this blog post to around 10 pm EST, I want your votes as to what to do. Do I put enough basic details of the CMC's adventures in another chapter of this fic, or do I write the whole thing as a separate fic?

I'd say do whatever feels best. If it really bothers you that the scene doesn't feel like it fits with the theme of the story, then maybe you shouldn't add it, or maybe you just need to edit it further. If you think it should be added, then add it.
