    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

And we're off! · 12:36pm Mar 19th, 2018

Alrighty friends, the sign-up period for the Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo is officially closed!

Well, mostly closed. We miiiiiight wind up with an odd number of participants, so if there's a brave soul out there who still wants to sign up, or if there's someone who's signed up who's willing to write TWO stories for people, drop me a message.

As for the rest of you fine folks, I'll soon be randomly setting assignments-- expect to get a PM from either myself or Cynewulf by, say, Thursday, letting you know who you'll be writing for. And after that, you've got a month to write up something neat and post it up on The Official Group Thing!

Simple, right? I'm looking forward to what you guys come up with!

Couldn't you just set up a trio? A uses B's work, B uses C's, C uses A's?

Oh! Good point. Especially since I'm gonna be randomizing things anyway.

I'm still waking up, so I probably haven't got all my neurons firing just yet.

Why not a chain in the first place?

  1. Make a list of participants.
  2. Randomly reorder.
  3. Everyone gets the next person’s in the list work to continue, except the last one – they get to continue the work of the first member of the list.

(cracks knuckles loudly)

Bring it on.

(mouths the word "ow" when no one is looking)

A good mix of hell yeah and oh god

Yeah, that's a really good idea. I was probably overthinking it earlier. Thanks for the help!

It'll be interesting to see what people will come up with!

One issue I see which might come up with the list:

If you're accounting for what people want/can stomach to write, it'll be a lot easier to pair people in similar genres/characters/shows/ratings up, as opposed to doing a list.

Of course, if you're up to finagling to make that happen, that's up to you.
