Equestria Daily got added to the Library of Congress!
As part of it's effort to archive the development of web culture Equestria Daily (and twenty-nine other sites) have been added to a web culture archive in the Library of Congress, and while I think that's super fucking dope all around, there is one, amusing implication I realized.
The dates of posts archived are from June 2014 to August 2016. Any post made on EQD from that time period have been preserved.
Including one post relevant to me in particular.
...
I did it.
I did it.
A (brief synopsis of a) story I wrote, is in the Library of Congress. My (and many others) work is in the Library of Congress.
I am (part of a movement that is) culturally and historically significant!
I DID IT!
I DID IT!

(but in all seriousness though, I think this is pretty cool, and I just find the fact that I can now factually claim that my writing is in the Library of Congress amuses the living shit out of me, especially given what made it in.)
That's awesome!
Darn. Now I wish I'd actually made some submissions. Congrats!
Oh man, this means that the audio drama of one of my fics is in. One of my works is in the Library of Congress now. Holy crap, that's awesome!
Technically the socal Ponytones are in the library of Congress now
Hot dang! I've got, like, five stories (story synopses, anyway) preserved for posterity.
Congrats! That Pony, EQD and all of you wonderful folks here at Fim Fiction are so honored and recognized makes me very happy and proud! Let the world see that Friendship is Magic!
None of my stories are in that slice of time, but a few of my sculptures are. Eh, I'll take it.
I'm not American, but I think I get it. This is huge. I get that at least.
I wonder if I've got anything. Doubt it; my only EqD feature (that I know of) came in August 2017. . . .
EDIT: NVM, two images I submitted for the ponies around the world are there.
