Alliteration assures awesome contests. Aontests, even. · 6:36pm Mar 15th, 2018
A wee signal-boost if you've not already heard: a contest's running! Specifically, the Springtime Sequel-Slash-Sandbox Switcheroo!
The link past the title goes into more detail regarding the format and dates and suchlike, but in essence: toss your name into the ring, receive the random name of someone else in turn, and write fanfiction inspired by their work! An excuse for writing something's always good fun, this promises to be acceptably madcap, and all manner of creative juices'll flow and writing muscles get stretched, I don't doubt.
Signed up myself a couple of days ago, and forgot to post about it till now, gowk that I am. The sign-up period lasts til this Sunday. Consider jumping in if you haven't already.
It'll all end in tears, I know it. What kind of tears, I don't know, but bring a plumber just in case.
Also: Boo! That title! Boo! Pick a real word, you lexically challenged, neologistically inclined neophyte.
Totally joining. This is going to be a hoot and a half.

Oi, aontests is deid cromulent, I'll have you ken. Just for that, I'm going to use it more out of spite.
Looking forward to it as well! Whatever the outcome of this aontest, it can only be spectacular.

OK, very funny, but I definitely know "ken" isn't a real word.

Or perhaps it is simply beyond your ken!
(Is that the joke?)

Nah, I've asked him. My Ken definitely knows what he's talking about.
(No, this is.)
