Bout time for an update, eh?

Not a big enough update to qualify for Rabbit Tracks, but this is just to say: Work is continueing on "Just a Pony", albeit slowly. Two more chapters down, then I got sidetracked by videogames, now I'm sidetracked by homework and sickness, and then hopefully back to "Just a Pony" soon!

    Irony

I tried to write a blog about how I haven't been able to write. I accidentally hit ctrl+r and refreshed the page, losing everything I had written. A cruel bit of irony. I am tired and angry with myself and scared for my future as a writer and I do not have the energy to retype it, so pretend there is some sincere and heartfelt explanation here and you're moved by the struggles of some weird

Pictures should be fixed across all stories

At this point if anyone is seeing broken images in my fics on Fimfiction please let me know! For anyone looking for a new image hosting site with Discord having done the Big Suck, I used Postimages and it was rather simple and efficient.

    Image hosting

Real quick, I know my images are all borked again; what are folks using for image hosting these days? Needs to be free and the less likely it is to implode the better... I was using Discord until just recently which is why this mess happened lmao

    Becoming myself

It's a bit strange that I've spent days trying to figure out how to write this. It's such a big thing and I want to get that across to y'all, but I never will. So I'm just going to rip off the bandaid and get this out there. Because something amazing happened to me.

Looking Glass audiobook · 6:22am Mar 15th, 2018

So I mentioned in my previous blog post that I recorded a Looking Glass audiobook. Well, I’ve decided to release it after all!

Quick note for anyone who didn’t read the admittedly long and rambling blog post I made before: I’m not actually well-suited for this type of thing, since I struggle with being vocally expressive. I’m interested in feedback if you’ve got it (I may be doing more audiobooks in the future, and want them to be as quality as possible), but something like “Try being more expressive” isn’t gonna help :twilightblush: (I’m also probably not as bad as I’m making me sound).

Also a good place to point out a change in how I view my gender since y’all are about to hear my voice: I consider myself a genderqueer girl and I’m cool with either they/them or she/her pronouns (was only they/them for the longest time, but something something life etc.)

Anyway, here’s the Google Drive folder with all the recordings (can be streamed or downloaded there). I’d like to release it on YouTube at some point since I know that’s where people usually look for this stuff, but I have a limited internet connection and making these video files for YouTube would make a huge upload size on my end.

Total runtime: 18 hours, 23 minutes
Total file size: 1.04 GB

Im listening to it right now. I honestly thought you were a girl.

Also I honestly would love to hear a audio book for the whole series.

Happy to hear there’s some interest in that :scootangel: I do plan on continuing with these, but it’s very time consuming and right now I’d rather focus on writing. But sometime when I take a break from writing again, I’ll definitely be doing more!

Yay! I'd definately love to hear each of the stories. I have looking glass on my computer as a audiobook to listen too. I'd do it on my phone, but my phones only got so much space.

lol yeah, it is pretty big to store on a phone :twilightsheepish:

I have a question about the audiobook, actually. Do you think the volume was too low? I thought it was fine when I was working on it, but then I listened to it later and had to turn the volume on max and it still seemed kinda quiet. Wondering if anyone else had the same thought.

I honestly don't remember. My computer is acting up so I can't even listen to it anymore
