Farwell Steven Hawkings · 2:12pm Mar 14th, 2018
its a sad day for the world of science and humanity alike, he was one of the brilliant minds of our time, he gave us a new outlook on our universe and beyond its stars even though he was trapped in a body that was his own prison but now his suffering has ended and has become one with the cosmos.
may his legacy forever be eternal .
I heard. Even though he's gone, his world will keep on spinning.
Here's what I posted on Facebook as soon as I found out:
Professor Stephen Hawking has passed away at the age of 76. His was a brilliant mind in the scientific community, and in particular, the world of Physics. The scientific community will be turned on its head at the loss of such a brilliant mind, but it will carry on, as it always does, as Professor Hawking would want it to. I thank God that he was given more than "just a few years" after his diagnosis of Motor Neuron Disease, which should have caused his death long ago. The good Lord saw fit to let the Professor stay here on Earth awhile longer than that, because Professor Hawking had much work that needed to be done. Now that his work is completed, he has boarded his spaceship, and departed the confines of the Earth, and of existence to become one with the universe.
Amen to that.
Brilliant mind, great sense of humour and indomitable through illness.
His legacy will live on.
