    Well, that didn't work out

As some of you might have noticed, updates on 'Thorns of Stone' have recently stopped. I initially planned to do an entry every day to see if I could write a found-journal style story from beginning to end in less than a month, but that experiment has been a failure due to daily life getting in the way. From this point onwards updates will come after writing out and revising multiple entries at

New story: 'The Darkness of Heaven'

Just posted a new one-shot; something a little different and a little darker than usual, inspired by philosophical thoughts you get as the years go by.

    Looking for a proofreader

    Hi everyone

I just finished a 2,000 word one-shot where Twilight Sparkle finds out that the afterlife is nothing like what she expected, and I'm searching for a proofreader to give it a quick look-over before I post it to the site. If you're interested, please send a PM.

    Thanks!

RIP Stephen Hawking · 4:48am Mar 14th, 2018

I just learned a few minutes ago that famed physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76. I admit that I'm not well versed in science or physics, and never read any of his work, but I always admired Mr. Hawking for the grace and dignity he possessed, and the strength to live a life with a disease that most of us, myself included, would probably have given in to. I also admired how he also was willing to have fun with his public image, including appearances on The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, and even Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Farewell and Godspeed, Mr. Hawking. You were blessed with one of the greatest minds of the century, and showed us all that no matter what state your body is in, you can still have a full and fulfilling life.
