Some of you may have noticed that A Thief's Tale has a sibling now under the name of A Thief's Tale: The Road To Penance, and apparently it's better than My Brother's Keeper. Reviews came in fast and the results were pretty clear: RTP > MBK, and I don't think that it's far fetched to say that MBK will be turned into a short story and folded into the Thief's Tale universe. I have a few ideas as to how I should end it and get the ends to connect, but I'm not sure about whether or not I should post another story that I've put a little work into. It probably won't go far, but having uncompleted works in my library doesn't bother me in the slightest, and I'm pretty sure that if I knew someone wanted to read my shit, I'd keep writing it. Quoth The Wendigo is a bit out there, based on a whim and emotions that plague me no longer, but I feel like there's some sort of potential in it that I'm not seeing.
On a side note, if you're a writer and you need ideas, hit me up. I'm fucking full of prospects that I don't want to pursue, so I'll be happy to pass on a few tidbits regardless of whether or not I plan on doing something with it. I'm interested in seeing what exactly two different people come up with based on the same subject, so maybe it'll be a challenge? Pitch ideas back and forth until we agree on something and go head to head with our diction and styles. It sounds like fun to me.
On another note, I considered writing a sequel to Diamond Domination, but I can't. I started a sequel and tried to feel the vibe I had from the former half of D-D, but the magic isn't there. I might try and get the Spring Heat chapter sorted, but for the time being, BDSM just doesn't strike me as something I want to write about.
Speaking of clop, I'm actually hella surprised that Cocoa in the Snow performed so shitfully. It has a great like-dislike ratio, but I assumed that it would appeal to a broader audience since it has multiple pairings in it. There might have been some things I could have done to make it go over better, but I honestly thought that most of the scenes were either as good or better than the rest of the porn I've written. For those of you who don't write, imagine baking cookies. You have a plate of triple chocolate fudge and you have a variety plate with some great cookies on that bitch, but people only pay attention to the chocolate cookies, even though you worked a lot harder on the variety platter. That's basically the feeling I got from D-D going over better than CITS. Shits's weird. Yes, I meant to type Shits's.
