Ever Experienced Sleep Paralysis? · 10:01pm Mar 5th, 2018
Because let me tell you, the feeling of waking up in the morning with your body completely paralyzed is undoubtedly a scary thing. The first time I experienced it as a kid, I literally thought I was being pressed down by some unseen force. As if there were some kind of ghost in my bedroom. It wasn't until I was old enough to understand why it happens. Apparently from what I have been told is that it's completely normal for anyone to go through sleep paralysis. Not to mention it doesn't last forever once you wake up. Speaking of which, I just had another one last week, and I had to use all of my strength just so I could get myself out of bed >.<
This has happened to me once. I was in a hospital for a different medical reason when I had fallen asleep on my back in a hospital bed. According to the doctors' I had had a seizure in my sleep wich resulted in temporary sleep paralysis. While the doctors treated me, My brain was aware that I was trying to awaken but, I couldn't open my eyes. Couldn't move. Couldn't speak. I felt helpless. It sucked until I could move again.
That never happened to me before. I think.
Dude that happened to me a few years ago. I can't say it frightened me, but I was still pretty fuckin confused.

Your lucky. I'm not saying it will happen but it could happen to anyone at a random time.
>4811483 So was I! The first time it happened to me, I wasn't only confused but I was so helpless to do anything.

Yeah...a strong bout of depression followed.
that does sound very scary
I’ve had an awful experience with sleep paralysis that caused me to question my own sanity. I saw something that I don’t think was real. It caused me to believe that I was being haunted by an evil spirit because I saw the same figure that haunted me in my dreams pop up right before my eyes and I couldn’t run, I couldn’t hide, I was just stuck in one spot.
