Countdown to Every Lie (four days left) · 8:52pm Mar 1st, 2018

As promised, today I will be talking about the area in which Fallout Equestria: Every Lie takes place in, because it might feel both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. Mares and Gentlecolts, welcome to Trauston, the once grand jewel of Mid-West Equestria.

I know that most people usually turn to Las Pegasus as a western city due to it's similarity in new to New Vegas from the Fallout series, but I felt like it would be better to do something a bit different this time around. Trauston in this case, is a bit strange in that it isn't based on Auston or something of the like, but rather a mixture of many different cities from the Mid-West states. During it's prime, it was the location of many cultural and tourist attractions. Some of these included the Grand Luna Theater, one of the biggest theaters made during Equestria's war against the zebra, and the Trauston Tower, which is noted for only being half done when the Pegasi abandoned the war, leading to the largest known building ever made solely by earth ponies. It is also home to several stables, but for the sake of avoiding spoilers I won't name any of them.

This once thriving city, like many others when the megaspells fell from above, quickly collapsed. Now Trauston finds itself frequently visited by sandstorms, something that had kept the Grand Pegasus Enclave at bay for a long time. Raiders and Ghouls have especially found there home in the city, due to the lack of help from Steel Rangers and other outside factions, something that gave the city the title "City of Isolation". Many settlements in Trauston are run by raiders and other unwelcoming company, with one of the largest being the creatively name Sandtown in the center of the city.

So yeah, I've thought a good bit about the setting for this story, and I think that there are some interesting opportunities open to me now then there was two years ago. I won't go to far into depth about that, but tomorrow... let's keep what you are going to see tomorrow a secret okay?
