Enchanted Library Visual/Kinetic Novel Update

Hi everybody!

I've managed to advance a little bit on the VN before my classes start this Sunday, so I thought I should share some pics!

As some of you might remember, Elara wasn't present in chapter 1! WELL NOW SHE IS, and so is Themis depending on the choices you make. Though this will mostly be a kinetic novel since the story is already written, I'm trying my best to incorporate user choices here and there :3c

You can't change the events in any meaningful way, but you can interact with limited parts of the environment.

Nice work! Kinetic novel or visual novel, I don't really mind at all...though I do wonder how the choices can really be incorporated if most of story is written.

I imagine most of them would either veer off into alternate scenes before focusing back onto the main path or just be bad ends.

Take the slumber party for instance. Rather then the events we see in the book, Rarity could suggest other activities for the fillies to play. In the end, it wouldn't change future events (aside from some of the photographs), but it would give the player some choice.

Well, in seriousness I probably would imagine like you mentioned. Most likely it'll be non-major plot points or conversations that give unimaginable spoilers and plot points for the future of EL/EK wouldn't really effect the overall story.
