Damn it's been a while · 5:56pm Feb 20th, 2018
Where to start? I've been a busy, busy, overly busy individual. And the hits simply won't stop coming. I guess this is less of an update, and more of a "I'm going to get on here and just let it out." So, what's happened? Back in August, which you might have noticed seemed to be about the time that my updates began to slow to a crawl, and now have basically stopped almost all together, my wife and I were asked to accept an additional head into our home. Since then it's been a battle. A terrible, constant, and mindnumbing battle that reminds me of growing up myself.
There is a silver lining in that I believe we've done some good. Of course that's not the end of it. The place we live on is a piece of property that belonged to my parents. Since both of them have passed I took over making monthly payments on the property for the time being. The bank, which holds the lean, finally realized (only after over four years) that my father has passed, and thus they want either the remainder of the balance (over 32,000) by June 1st, or they are going to seize the property itself.
Since my parents didn't leave a will, and since there is a lien on it, I've been told (By a friend who is a lawyer) that the bank does have the right to auction off the property for amount due. They can't however come after myself, or my wife, for anything else since the morage is in my parents' names. Thus, we're going to be moving before too long. Naturally this means that the 'additional head' we were asked, by the state, to let into our home is going to be going somewhere else. (I shouldn't be, but in truth I'm kind of happy about it. It means I get to write again, go back to work, and so on.)
Besides that aspect I've been working on getting my CDL. Granted I have a college education, currently hold a BA in English (Focus in Creative Writing), but I'd like to have something a bit more stable. So, with all of that, what does it mean toward my stories?
All of them will be continued. I am going to get back to updating, and Hopefully I will be able to do so well before too long. I've also learned something else. Being the one that stays at home, budgets the income, takes care of everything, and ensures that everything is running smoothly is a difficult job in and of itself. It's also mostly thankless. I'm certainly looking forward to getting back to work.
