I’m not going to bore anyone with the day I’m having, but let’s say work has been more stressful than one would have expected and I am VERY angry with my local vision specialist people.
Now, when you make an appointment and are told that it’s for the ‘14th’, do you assume they mean the ‘14th’ as in 3 days from now, or the 14thnext month?
On that note, if the person who you just made an appointment for comments, “take that Valentine’s day!” do you explain you mean the 14th next month, or smile like an oblivious idiot?
One guess as to what happened to me.
Seeing as I’m single at the moment, I’m going to make a little Valentine tribute to one of my fave artist friends and their take on one of my favorite characters.
The character is Sonata Dusk, the artist is thegreatcat14. Yes, it’s been that kind of day.
Strap yourself in, we’re just getting started.
We all do crazy things for love, but Sonata is that special kind of completely unhealthy love that makes even the most anime yandere girls speak up and tell her to take it down a notch.
Still, love is a rather complex set of emotions that pushes us to the irrational, and well… maybe we’ve all at one time felt that love or infatuation that makes using a bladed implement seem like a good idea?
Sure, one’s rational mind usually kicks in and reminds us about pesky things like, morals, ethics, and prison sentences, but you know what? Sometimes love is considering all those options and reacting appropriately.
So happy Valentine’s day, thegreatcat14. Thank you for looking at a character with rather limited screen time, who came off as very ditzy, and maybe a touch deranged and running in both directions with those concepts much like me!
