That is to say, I'm going to give it to all of you straight:
I need an editor, or at least some kind of advisor.
Not someone to go through Ex Sanguis and help me find mistakes to correct: It should only take a short glance over a small portion of my body of work to determine that I am very obviously not concerned about that (for better or for worse). No, I need someone to help me figure out how to get this to work in a way I am happy with. I said previously, I believe, that I know what I expect this story to look like; I just need some help getting it there.
I do not have a regular update schedule (again, look over my body of work; with only two or three exceptions, this is clearly not something I'm concerned about), I have no real compensation to offer, and I can almost guarantee that I'd be a real pain to work with, largely for that first issue I listed. But if there is anyone out there who wants to help with with this FiM x Bloodborne crossover, please let me know.
Keep in mind also that on 82 views, this story has exactly 0 upvotes and 2 downvotes, which means that even if I recognize your contributions, it's very unlikely that anybody else will. Stats like that would normally be discouraging, but those downvotes came with no explanation of reasoning on something that I know is a well-written story, so they don't exactly fit into any kind of calculus that I'm running.
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Bloodborne. :/

Believe it or else, that actually wouldn’t be a problem in this particular case: Bloodborne leaves a lot of details out of the lord because — in the grand scheme of things — they are actually completely unimportant. The consequence of this is that if I decide to invent something for the story, then as long as it doesn’t fly completely counter to what lore is established, it’s as valid as any other proposed hypothesis.
No, my chief concern is not making sure I can mesh FiM and Bloodborne well (I’m confident I can), but making sure that flow and pacing are good, and that characterization makes sense (even if it’s not completely “correct”).
None of this changes the fact that I don’t have a schedule and would almost certainly be a pain to work with. Not knowing about Bloodborne isn’t a good reason to not want to edit, but thinking I sound like an insane vampire? That’s a wurst of a different flavor!
I could probably help with editing, and I have played Bloodborne (as well as beating some endgame bosses for my brother on his account within the first few tries somehow ^-^;).
Said brother also knows a fair whack of stuff about it and likes to talk to me about it. (Well, anyone really.)
