Thoughts on Returning and Moving Forward

Plans for 2020

They say the difference between an amateur writer and a professional writer is that amateurs wait for inspiration, professionals sit down and get it done. That alone is why I've always considered an amateur and nothing more. Losing motivation to write has plagued me before, and its why New Sun Rises is taking so damn long to finish.

An Update

With any luck, I think I can have the latest chapter ready within the next week.
Just figured I'd let people know in advance so it's not too sudden of a surprise to realize that I still exist.
And no, I don't have any real excuse for why it's taken me this long to get back to working on this. If there was a box for bad authors to sit in, I would be there right now.

Still not dead · 3:31pm Feb 1st, 2018

Okay, so I've been rather quiet for a while, so best to say something lest ye all think I've been put out on an ice flow and sent out to sea, as is custom in my homeland. Obviously, not dead... just... having trouble putting together things that I can, in turn, put up here. Progress has been slow, but progress is being made.

The three main projects I want to work on next are:
-Tempest Shadow story (currently in progress)
-Act VII for 'A New Sun Rises'
-Part two of 'Right There in Front of Me' (no, it's not dead... just pining for the fjords)

I don't really have any excuse for my tardiness other than just difficulties finding the time and energy to write.

No problems. Given your track record, we'll cut you some slack. Interesting that you're taking on Tempest Shadow. I'm looking forward to seeing your take on her. I can't even wrap my mind around her yet, having still not seen the movie.
