My Thank You and Final Thoughts

I found the man behind the curtain. I hated him. But he helped me.

I know that the nature of the world I live in, this ending, is still a simulation. It's still some... contained universe of some being's creation.

    But I'm happy.

    My Last Chance

    I have one last shot.

This is going to take everything I've got.

I've studied, searched, hacked and tried to break down every wall in front of me.

All that's left is trying directly. I think I know the password now.

    If this works....

    It has to work.

    The Play Buttton

    I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand. I don't understand.

For weeks. Months. Every single pony, animal, everything was just... frozen in time. I couldn't respond. I couldn't use the terminal.

It was like the whole world was just... turned off.

    Rest Point

I've reached the first small village on my route to the Capital. I was able to get some food for Red and myself as well as top off my water supplies.

There's ponies here, gathering. Training. Some with knives. Some with guns. There's no consistency among them. I can't tell who is a soldier and who is a citizen. It feels more like a militia brewing than any sort of formal army.

When you close your eyes, you find yourself in a dark place. However, this is a safe place. When you open your eyes, you're back where you were. Maybe you've taken steps forward, however, object permanence kicks in. You know where you are in relation to your surroundings.

Even the blind are able to sense where they are through the sensation of sound, touch, and repetition. Memory and routine build a map of relativity. An inner sense of direction and location then creates a "mind's eye" that allows you to know where you are.

I've traveled this desert for at least two days. Supplies are holding. I've had to ration them carefully. The poor pup is barely holding in there. I've wrapped myself almost entirely in light cloth to keep the sun off me and damaging my skin. But the heat is sweltering.

Something is wrong.

In the evenings when I lay to sleep, I find myself in this space. This void. Utter null. I am very real. I exist. However, it's as if my surroundings do not. A pure lack of creation. A purest nothing. A boat without an ocean. A soul without a vessel. Then, I wake. And here I am once more.

I know I'm getting close to a town. Perhaps being around scripted puppets is better than being alone.

My journey is long. And my heart is strong. I just hope my body can with stand the torment my heart must push it through.

When I arrive in town, I intend to change my image. I will re-create myself. I'll assume a new name here. I'm unsure if it will work. I don't know what can or cannot be seen. But it's worth a chance.

A thought crossed my mind.

Perhaps I should the opposing army as a double agent. I can get to the front lines.

I don't know what I would do without all of your help. Unless it seems like these aren't secure anymore, I'll leave these easy to understand. If it seems like these are being intercepted... well.

One day at a time.

You mentioned you can interact with the terminal, but you cannot execute scripts.
Have you tried executing any commands on your own scripts? Assuming you found a script for yourself.

As an user, you must have access to files you create, or files you own. You could check if you have ownership to your own file.
It might be dangerous tampering with it, as you can probably damage yourself. But, in the other hand, if you can hack yourself to, say, mitigate your own hunger, or heal your own wounds, or generally alter your own properties, you might be able to take advantage of this game.

Good to see that your still pushing forward. You have more courage than I could ever hope for
Just remember

Don't try to pose as a member of the Saddle Arabian force. You're not military, and it would be all too easy to out you the second you do something uniquely civilian, like pronounce FOB as "eff-oh-bee" and not fob, or act surprised when someone says you can burn the cheese in an MRE.

If it's not too risky, try posing as a doctor affiliated with a neutral non-government organization. You could say a pickpocket stole your proof of identity prior to the war or something.
