I'm still writing, slowly, but I haven't given up. I've got a strong foundation of a story now that I've figured out the plot. 
Update on my life: So last time I actually posted anything about me here, I had bought a horse. I still have him, he's my baby. We are learning dressage together with this awesome trainer. Last spring I wrecked my car (first car accident and hopefully last). I survived crazy southern Italy without a crash, but not Chesapeake VA apparently. Now I have a big Cummins diesel truck, and I will be getting a horse trailer soon. Um... oh yeah, I get out of the Navy in two months, and that's kind of stressful. Let's see, I've gotten into D&D and it's tons of fun. I wish I had gotten into it when I was younger; I haven't kept up with Magic, but I still have all of my cards. I've decided laserdisc is a cool retro format, so I'm collecting those now. Yeah... that's about it. It's been a ride.
