One Year Anniversary · 11:19pm Jan 27th, 2018
Last year this day, Defect was published. Man, it feels like an eternity ago.
Defect was my first featured story, and I'm so lucky to have experienced that. I still remember the joy and exuberance I felt when I saw that it made to the feature box... after a whole nine hours of being unnoticed after the story was first published!
However, one thing I'm not particularly proud of is... the update schedule. If it even exists at all. There are a few reasons for my slow updates, especially considering the word count of each chapter, but that's no excuse for the four months long and six months long hiatus I've put the story in. On top of this, I'm aiming to finish the first Arc for Defect this year. Then, I will likely put the story on a mini-hiatus as I do the prep work for the next Arc and start fleshing out everything as much as possible. We're already near the midpoint for this first Arc, though the second half will be way more intensive for both action and story.
Anyways, that's all for now. Chapter 6 should be coming out really soon. It's also going to be the longest chapter to date in terms of wordcount. Unfortunately, that chapter will mark the end of my relatively quick updates for Defect. In part because I should give some attention to my other stories as well as due to school kicking in again.
Here's to hoping you have a nice year in 2018! Until next time, Croaks out!
OH GOD HE DIED!
Now we'll never get more of Twilitron!
Consider it a compliment that we want more but i do get real life issues.
Sad chirping noises.
