I Am Still Alive · 7:45pm Jan 25th, 2018
I've been quiet, but I'm still here and things are planned.
Life is like a box of twittermites. BZZZZZT
Next up is a long-overdue update to Twilight's Secret Journal. Seriously this time.
Current other projects include a Noncon Fetish Sex Teen-rated story called Village of Innocence (title tentative), a Fetish Sex Porn story called Mare-Faggot, and a sequel to Self-Control called Out of Control.
Now I have some questions for the audience:
Should I mark Mare-Faggot as a sequel to Girl Talk if it is one? I don't want to cheapen a feel-good nonsexual TG fic by making an official sequel that is porn, unless nopony would care. Should I make it a sequel, an "unofficial sequel" (in the story description), or not mention it at all?
I have an epic I've been planning for many years now. I'm interested in doing it as an audience participation story, like MS Paint Adventures. I realize Fimfiction isn't the ideal place to do one of those, but I do want to do the story here either way. Should I do it as audience participation second-pony, audience-participation as a normal third-pony story, or just write it like a traditional story?
I say go full MSPA, but I've been reading it since before the end of Problem Sleuth, so I'm probably a bit biased.
As for the sequel tagging, maybe split the difference and have each story link to the other without using the sequel system. That way, you can add some warnings to the link in the prequel.
Looking forward to the epic and Out of Control. And I find myself hoping that Mare-Faggot involves a mare who actually is a bundle of sticks. Given timberwolves, it's not infeasible.
Go third-pony story for the epic is my vote .

With or without audience?

I doubt many ponies would care tbh. Though if you feel like it'd cheapen or ruin the previous story to make it a sequel then it'd probably be best to not do so.
If you want audience participation then I say go for it.
I'd vote 3rd person or traditional.
I vote for third-person with audience partici— media.giphy.com/media/ievLI3iIkqs6I/giphy.gif
As for Mare-Faggot, it's kinda hard to say, not having read it. Maybe include a link to Girl Talk, but don't have Girl Talk link to Mare-Faggot, which I guess amounts to making it an unofficial sequel

I'm realizing now what the problem is with third-pony audience participation.
With second-pony, you can ask, "What do you do next?" from that pony's perspective. But if it's third pony, it's like asking, "Now what do you want to happen in the story?" which is less immersive and might turn things more into a collaboration than a game.
Do you think second-pony is undoable...?

No, it's very doable. Second-person's definitely the way to go if you want to limit the audience's influence on the story. It's all in what role you want the audience to play. Dunno about immersion, but I've always found that to be an odd term

I've just always found 2nd person to be kinda weird personally. I see your point about game vs collab though. Up to you really, I don't think it would be undoable if you chose to do it that way.
I like "unofficial sequel" and second-pony participatory.

It is doable but I just prefer third-pony audience participation .
