As you may well not know, my Grandparents are getting divorced. My Grandfather, whom, is leaving our household for another woman. His old GF back in highschool after finding her again. Almost leaving us with nothing until a court date gave us a fixed income and the ability to do things that we couldn't do in the months prior. My grandmother, Sister, Dog and I all live in a moderatly sized home in one of the high selling areas in North-East Dallas. Anyways Enough of the bad news...
Here's a little sneak peek of something I've been working on.
A massive forest fire has broken out in the Baraga and Gwinn State Forests in Wisconsin, raging for several weeks before being brought under control. As the authorities investigate the cause of the fire, evidence points to a nearby cave. What will be found inside will launch the United States into a war between worlds, and the liberation of an oppressed species.

06:30 CST| 6:30 AMIt's a calm night tonight, not so much a breeze or a chirp, thought Derrick.
His friends had chosen this clearing for their camp near one of the many caves dotting the forest.
It'll be fine they said, its a good spot they said... a natural cave this size usually has a bear or something don't they?
I was the only one that didn't want to take any chances.
Voting him down and setting up the camp, his friends ran into the cave banging pots and pans attempting to scare him. Minutes later the sounds of the rambunctious teens dimmed, the only indication was the soft and faint blue glow coming from the deep interior.
The light gradually grew into a harsh and well defined orange as air began to launch out of the hole as a deep and loud rumble followed behind. Suddenly without warning the cave spewed fire and the last thing Derrick saw was the wall of flame rushing towards him, liquefying and charring his body into the rapidly burning grass...
Any thoughts are criticisms are welcome!

No it's not like that. It's like if you had a choice on how the story will go. You say what you would like to see and I may consider moving the story to encompass the idea, a choose-your-path.
For example, if you wanted me to have a conversation about bananas I would at first, think it would be ridiculous and deny the request. If you also put that you wanted me to talk about the reason for the camo on their uniforms, then I may consider adding it to a future Chapter.
