State Of Psychosis, as of January 11th, 2018

Another year passed, and me another year older. Hooray! Or not. Whatever floats your boat. Anyway, down to business.

So, for the *glances at follower list* ...six of you who care. One semester of college is down. It blew goats, but it's over now, and I at the very least have a decent game plan moving forward from here. My wonderful parents are being supportive about everything, which is great after my rough report card. Mom got pneumonia, but it looks like she'll make it alright, so that's one less thing to panic over as well. Altogether, I've been a little more productive these past couple of weeks, so that's some good news.

Now, for thing people actually want to know about: Just tossed another one-shot at the mods for approval. It's very different from my 1st one, so I warn you, if you are looking for light, fluffy Fluttershy fics, this one isn't for you. It's more along the lines of existential horror and tragedy, but bear with me! More Flutter-fluff this way comes. I'm probably going to do some more work along the lines Withywindle established, might even expand the story if I feel so inclined.

For future projects, I have a few ideas rattling around in the space betwixt mine ears (I can hear them echoing in their if it's quiet enough). I've had this idea for an alternate universe fic involving some lost kingdom of earth ponies that split off pre-unification for at least a couple of years now. I think I actually posted my original idea doc in one of the groups I'm in, so look at that if you want an idea of what I'm talking about. I might work on that, but only the future can tell. It's definitely not a one-shot, and it's going to take a lot of work to get anywhere.

I've also been on a Necromancer kick recently, but anything that comes out of that is a long, long ways away. I've a bunch of world building and timeline-sketching before I pull that habit out of my rat.

If you are really desperate to read something of mine (hell if I know why), I somehow managed to pump out a short, original sci-fi piece while I was on the plane recently. No clue how it happened, but inspiration struck and I rolled with it. I'm calling it 11:45 to Tycho Station, and I'll probably toss up a link to it once I get around to reviving the old blog site I have gathering cobwebs somewhere.
